I find that in general the " rank size rule" works well, but its not a flawless design, for instance the answer ends up being in the general vicinity of the prediction but not exact and its off enough to be unreliable. I think it is an interesting concept, and if I were with out the internet for some reason I guess I could do the math but now all this is a hassle.
